Ervik Havfiske AS

Ervik Havfiske AS is the operating company of what is often referred to as Norway’s largest longline fishing fleet. Operations are managed from the main office at Stadlandet, with additional offices in the Falkland Islands, New Zealand, Uruguay, Gibraltar, and Reading, UK.

The Ervik Group holds ownership interests through subsidiaries and affiliated companies, alongside collaboration agreements with other vessels.

Ervik Havfiske primarily engages in longline fishing for cod, haddock, ling, tusk, and wolffish in the North Atlantic.

Longline fishing is an environmentally friendly method, selective in targeting species and sizes, ensuring high-quality catches while minimizing impact on the seabed and fuel consumption.

Responsible fishing means catching the right fish at the right age, in optimal condition, and as efficiently as possible, while ensuring crew safety and minimizing environmental impact. Ervik’s advanced vessels operate across global waters, actively supporting eco-certification efforts in fisheries worldwide.

Through partnerships with French and British companies, Ervik participates in advanced and demanding toothfish fisheries, leveraging Norwegian expertise. International inspectors onboard ensure sustainable resource management and protection of vulnerable ecosystems.

Ervik Havfiske also provides autoline vessel management services to external clients, including certification oversight, supervision, training, crew management, fish sales, workshop services, payroll, and accounting.
