The company also engages in trade of marine and fisheries-related equipment, as well as offering consultancy and management services. Additionally, Ervik Ocean provides loans and guarantees for companies within the group.
The company owns vessels leased to a joint venture, Argos Froyanes, with ownership equally shared between Ervik Ocean and the British company Argos. Argos, registered in Gibraltar, oversees the daily operations, while Ervik Ocean manages the vessels’ financial operations.
Fishing primarily takes place in the waters around South Georgia, the Ross Sea, and the Amundsen Sea. These activities are regulated by the international management organization CCAMLR, with licenses issued by national authorities. The crew includes both Norwegian and international personnel.
